This time, we examine how I rely on current events in my writing. In this case, the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision opened the door for foreign influence in American campaigns. This decision adversely affects everyone across the ideological spectrum. Written in 2015, published in 2016, the events portrayed in this book became a reality when four men were arrested in 2019 for doing exactly what I predicted (except they didn’t kill anyone … that we know about).
